What is the DGX Spark GB10?

The DGX Spark brings AI to your desktop. It is a desktop supercomputer capable of executing LLMs and scientific workloads.

• 128GB unified LPDDR5x memory at 273 GB/s memory bandwidth

Two or more DGX Sparks can be connected together using a special cable to increase the performance. In some configurations, three DGX Sparks have been connected together.

Which DGX Spark GB10 variants exist?

NVIDIA and OEM vendors provide the following DGX Spark products:

Technically, NVIDIA distinguishes between the DGX Spark Founders Edition and DGX Spark GB10 (OEM Version).

Typically, vendors will offer two to three variants, which differentiate themselves by storage size:

• 1TB – recommended budget option
• 2TB
• 4TB – recommended for single-site installations, deployment options

Which discounts exist for the DGX Spark products?

NVIDIA offers two types of discounts for the DGX Spark GB10:

The Inception discount – meant for startups

The EDU (education) discount – meant for educational institutions, for example universities.

Additionally, pi3g offers a volume discount for DGX Spark orders above 10 units.

With the purchase of three DGX Sparks pi3g can include the required interconnect cables for free, on request. Cite the code “LR2026-ADD-3” when contacting us to unlock this discount.

How can I get the Inception discount for the DGX Spark GB10?

To get the NVIDIA Inception discount, you will generally have to follow the following steps:

1. Choose a partner from which you would like to buy the DGX Spark (contact pi3g for purchasing the DGX Spark in Europe)
2. Sign up to the NVIDIA Inception program
3. Request a discount voucher from the NVIDIA Inception program using the NVIDIA Inception portal
4. Provide the discount voucher to your partner, e.g. pi3g
5. We will use this voucher with the distributor and manufacturer, to provide an offer for you including the discount
6. Confirm the offer
7. We will place and confirm the order
8. We will ship your DGX Spark system with the Inception discount applied

You can apply for the Inception discount for DGX Spark Systems for up to 64 units of the DGX Spark Founders Edition, and 64 units of the DGX Spark GB10 (OEM Version) in the lifetime of your company.

Is there a limit, and are there conditions to the Inception discount for the DGX Station?

The Inception discount for the DGX Station is limited to two DGX Stations discounts for the life-time of your company.

There are no application fees, deadlines, or cohorts. Applications for the Inception program take around 10 minutes and must be submitted in English. There are no membership fees, equity requirements or application costs. Generating revenue is not required for membership.

However, there are restrictions around who can apply to the Inception program:

• You need to provide unique contact information for one developer and one business executive
• Generic domains and generic e-mail addresses are not accepted (e.g. gmail.com addresses or [email protected])
• You need to employ at least one developer, maintain a working website, be officially incorporated
• Your entity need to be less than 10 years old

The following types of organizations are excluded from the Inception program:

• Consulting and outsourced development firms
• Companies associated with cryptocurrency
• Cloud service providers
• Resellers and distributors
• public companies

Your company needs to be incorporated, you will need to provide the incorporation date when you apply.

Additionally, there are limitations to what you can do with the system:

• the hardware is for the Inception member internal use only, it must remain in your possession
• you may not resell, redistribute, transfer or bundle it with other products or services for commercial distribution
• it is intended solely for demonstration, evaluation, development, testing, and proof-of-concept

Typically we will have DGX Sparks in stock, and can ship fast to the whole of Europe.

Important:

To get an NVIDIA DGX Spark GB10 with discount, you need to inquire with us (pi3g).

This is due to discounts having to be applied for upstream with the DGX Spark OEM and the distributor, they need to be provided to us. We are not allowed to retroactively apply a discount to a DGX Spark which is in stock with us already.

For customers needing a unit urgently, we can apply for the process and send you a loaner unit until your final unit with the discount arrives ( subject to availability).

Which institutions and individuals are eligible to get the NVIDIA Education discount for the DGX Spark GB10?

NVIDIA uses the wording “qualified education and research institutions”.

Eligible institutions typically include:

• Accredited universities
• Universities of applied sciences
• Research institutes affiliated with universities
• Public research organizations
• University departments and laboratories
• Faculty members purchasing for teaching or research
• Academic HPC and AI research groups

The following might be eligible, depending on the country and the NVIDIA product:

• PhD students purchasing through their university for their research
• Professors with research budgets

• Educational non-profit organizations
• Vocational colleges and technical colleges

The following are typically not eligible:

• Private individual students
• Alumni

How is the procedure to obtain the NVIDIA Education (EDU) discount for the DGX Spark GB10?

To get the NVIDIA Education discount, you will generally have to follow the following steps:

1. Choose a partner from which you would like to buy the DGX Spark (contact pi3g for purchasing the DGX Spark in Europe)
2. Provide information about your educational organisation to your partner, e.g. pi3g
3. We will use this information with the distributor and manufacturer, to apply for an NVIDIA education discount for you
4. Once the discount is approved, we will provide an offer including the discount on a separate line
5. Confirm the offer
6. We will place and confirm the order
7. We will ship your DGX Spark system(s) with the Education discount applied

Typically the confirmation of your educational status will rest on several proofs, such as:

• institutional e-mail address
• a purchase order signed officially by your university
• a research grant documentation
