We are primarily looking to hire local marketers already living in Leipzig or close to Leipzig.

For this position, we are happy to reduce your hours to 35 hours a week. The salary will be adjusted to the reduced hours, of course.

For this position, we offer 30 days of paid leave (based on a five-day workweek).

You are free to take additional unpaid free days as you require them.

Yes, we are very flexible time-wise. You will be able to start at a time which works for you - what matters to us is that you are productive and that the agreed hours are put into the project.

You can also work on the weekends, having more free time during the week. This might be beneficial if your partner, for example, is working on the weekends as well.

Please note that we will not pay extra for work on the weekends, it is paid at the regular rates.

Sometimes, if a project is urgent and deadlines loom, we might ask you to work overtime - on a voluntary base and for a limited time.

Since PiCockpit is a very big project, it is a marathon, not a sprint. From my experience, productivity decreases as more hours are put in.

That being said, if your productivity is consistently high with overtime, you can work more hours than 40 per week.

However, please note that we have a policy of not paying any special bonuses for overtime - you will continue to get paid at the same hourly rates as for the regular work.

As a Senior Performance Marketer targeting an international audience for PiCockpit, you will need to immerse yourself in a variety of global marketing trends, strategies, and analytics, most of which are documented and discussed in English. It's essential to understand the nuances of marketing terms, concepts, and cultural contexts, which often can only be fully grasped in English.

Moreover, interacting with an international community of marketers, platforms, and industry leaders will predominantly be in English. Whether it's negotiating with ad platforms, deciphering market research, or crafting compelling content, strong English skills are crucial.

Additionally, if you're not a native German or Russian speaker, communication with the management and broader team will be conducted in English. This ensures clear, concise, and effective exchange of ideas and strategies.

Given the global nature of the role and the need for precise communication in marketing strategies, campaigns, and analytics, excellent English skills are a fundamental requirement for this position. We must, unfortunately, turn away applicants who do not demonstrate a high proficiency in English. This standard ensures that our team can operate effectively and continue to deliver exceptional marketing campaigns to our diverse and global audience.
